Ceramic heaters work by passing electricity through ceramic plates and aluminium baffles. The ceramics heats up, this heat then in turn is absorbed by the aluminium. A fan blows the hot air around the aluminium and out throughout the room. The ceramic is a more efficient component compared to others as more electricity is turned into heat. Ceramic heaters are a very safe option because if it gets to hot no electricity is allowed to pass through it.
